By using GymBuddy, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

GymBuddy is an AI fitness coach that you text over iMessage. It provides personalized training, nutrition, and recovery coaching based on what you share.

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 or older and use an iPhone/iMessage account. By using the service you confirm you meet this and agree to these terms.

3. Subscription & payment

• GymBuddy is $9.99/month, billed through Stripe.
• Billing starts when your subscription begins — there is no free trial.
• 7-day money-back guarantee: if you ask within 7 days of your first payment (text GymBuddy or Tyrese), you get a full refund of that first payment and your subscription is canceled.
• Cancel anytime by texting "cancel" to GymBuddy. You keep access through the end of the paid period.

4. This is NOT medical advice

GymBuddy is fitness coaching, not medical or healthcare advice. Everything it says is informational only. It is not a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for a qualified professional.

• For any medical condition, persistent pain, or injury, stop and see a professional.
• Do not use GymBuddy for emergencies. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

5. AI limitations

GymBuddy is powered by AI, which can be wrong. We actively fact-check training and nutrition claims, but nothing here is guaranteed. You are responsible for your own decisions and for verifying anything that matters to you before acting on it.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use GymBuddy for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive, and don't try to use it to extract other people's personal data.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or from acting on its advice. The health-advice disclaimer in Section 4 is part of this.

9. Termination

You can stop using GymBuddy anytime. We may suspend or end access for misuse or violation of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

Updated terms will be posted here. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
